There don't seem to be that many places to stay in the town of Lahaina. Is that right or an I just missing something?

Aloha Micael,

Yes you're correct, there are not many place to stay in Lahaina town. There is the Plantation Inn, which is small and quaint, and unfortunately a little run down. There is also the Pioneer which is largely the same situation.

Probably your best bet is the Outrigger Aina Nalu  http://myhawaiivacationpackage.com/maui-hotels/aina-nalu-resort.html
which has recently been renovated. It has studios, one and two bedroom condos and is only a couple blocks off of Front Street in Lahaina.

They've been running some pretty good specials since reopening after renovation.
