The Marc Hale Moi Cottages at Princeville are on the north
side of Kauai and offer one bedroom condominium suites. There are 40 guestrooms
in 20 cottages, all offering views of the Hanalei Valley Mountains and are within easy
reach of a walking path to two private Princevi lle beaches.
Ceiling fans are featured in each unit as there is no
air conditioning, but the units are cooled by the trade
winds. There are 2 units in each 2 story cottage and units
are generally decorated in an island style, but do vary.
Room amenities include washers/dryers and kitchens with
refrigerators, stove/oven, cookware and dishes, microwave
and coffee/tea makers. There is also cable TV, complimentary
dial up internet access (local access), free local calls,
DVD/VCR, lanai or terrace. There is no charge for children,
age 18 years and younger, occupying the same room with
their parents or guardians and using existing bedding.
The Italian restaurant Sabella's is across from the cottages
and offers Italian food featuring fresh fish from the
waters off Kauai, seafood, appetizers, organic vegetables
from local farms and many Italian classics, such as Chicken
Saltimbocca and Calamari Fritti. Like most Princeville
restaurants, it is on the expensive side, but has a beautiful
location and is very popular with visitors. Open for dinner
only from Tuesday to Sunday from 5 to 10 pm (food served
until 9 pm) they also feature classical and slack key
guitar and jazz entertainment from 7 to 9:30 pm, Thursday
to Sunday.
Property amenities include a laundry room, babysitting
or child care (fee), complimentary coffee, complimentary
parking, high speed internet access in public areas (fee)
and complimentary newspaper. Nearby is the Princeville
Resort, home to many world class restaurants, shops, golf
and a full service spa. The front desk at Pali Ke Kua
is also the office for checking into Hale Moi and is available
from morning to early evening and there is a two night
minimum stay required at this property.
