The Kauai Coast Resort at the Beachboy recently finished
a $10 million renovation of their tropical beachfront
resort, ideally located on eight acres of beautiful, lush
gardens and beach front property on the scenic Royal Coconut
Coast. Even the entrance tucked among the coconut palms
is stunning with its slate tiled lobby and the cascading
water feature. From there you can wander through the ginger
and plumeria gardens to the low rise condos that offer
seclusion and privacy even though they are close to the
restaurants and activity of the Coconut Marketplace.
The one and two bedroom condos all feature lanais or patios
with either garden or ocean views. The rooms are spacious
and decorated with an island flair. Each unit features
fully equipped kitchens (except studios), including coffee/tea
makers, full refrigerator, dishwasher, range and garbage
disposals. Bathrooms have granite counters and tile floors
and most units have a washer/dryer. Other amenities include
Cable/Satellite TV, direct dial phone with data port,
safe (fee), daily maid service, alarm clock radio, bathroom
amenities, wake up service, ceiling fans, hair dryer and
much more.
The Hukilau Lanai Restaurant is located in the lobby of
the Kauai Coast Resort. The setting is ocean front with
a gorgeous view whether you are dining outside on the
covered lanai, or inside the main dining room. A Wine
& Food Tasting Menu is available from Tues. to Sun.
from 5 pm to 6 pm and a Happy hour at the Beachboy Poolside
Bar from 3 to 5 pm daily. The menu is eclectic featuring
fresh ingredients from the island of Kauai.
Some of the newly designed property features include a
new freeform swimming pool* with natural rock formation
waterscapes, a poolside bar, fitness equipment, an ocean
side Jacuzzi and a children's pool. There is also volleyball,
shuffleboard and tennis available, as well as hammocks
to loll in and perhaps watch the clouds drift by. And,
of course, a very beautiful beach just steps from your
condo.
Also just steps from your condo is the Coconut Marketplace,
ideal to pick up some souvenirs, take in a movie or enjoy
one of the many restaurants. A short drive away is the
charming town of Kapa'a, known for its good restaurants
and charming boutiques offering everything from art to
clothes to jewelry, much of it very unique.
The ambiance of the Kauai Coast Resort is definitely old-time
Hawaii, but with all the modern conveniences. The location
is ideal for exploring the entire island of Kauai, from
Princeville and beautiful Hanalei to Waimea Canyon and
dozens of waterfalls in between. This is a lovely resort
for practically every one who wants peace and serenity,
yet the convenience of shops and restaurants nearby.
