Castle Resort's Poipu Shores has a fantastic location,
situated right on the ocean within the renowned Poipu
Beach resort area. The resort offers 39 condo units with three
two and four story white stucco buildings. All the units
feature ocean views to watch sunrises and sunsets.
All the suites are very spacious and feature fully equipped
kitchens and large private patios or lanais overlooking
the ocean. The kitchens are equipped with full size refrigerator/freezer,
oven/stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender
and dishwasher. Decorated in island-style furnishings,
amenities include ceiling fans, Cable TV, VCR, washer/dryer
and more.
There is a wonderful, peaceful ambience here, as you stroll
around the tropical gardens and look out to the ocean.
Property amenities include free parking, complimentary
newspapers in the lobby, barbeque area, fresh water swimming
pool and sundeck.
Due to it's rocky coast, there is no beach access, but
turtles are daily visitors of the lava rocks fronting
the pool. Just a mile away is what is considered to be
one of America's best beaches, Poipu Beach. There is a
protected area for safe swimming and at the other end,
the perfect spot for surfing or boogie boarding. Between
the two points is a great place for snorkeling - in other
words, this is a perfect beach and it's very close by.
There is no on-site restaurant, but there are some great
ones nearby, as well as the charming one-story Poipu Shopping
Village, which hosts free Polynesian music and dance shows
during the week.
This is a lovely resort, perfect for couples who want
to get away, or families who want to spend quality time
with their children.
There are so many things to see and do on Kauai with great
hiking trails, the amazing Waimea Canyon, Princeville,
waterfalls to dazzle your eyes, no building taller than
the tallest coconut tree (it's actually a law), the quaint
town of Kapa'a and so much more.
