Each room has either a king size bed plus a single day bed, or two double beds. Rooms are spacious rooms with tropical furnishings featuring Hawaiian quilt bedspreads, as well as a large lanai. Room amenities include coffee maker, cable TV, mini-refrigerator, pay-per-view movies, hair dryer and full bathroom amenities.

The hotel is located on world-famous Kaanapali Beach, a magnificent stretch of soft, golden sand that seems to go on forever. Near the hotel is Pu'u Keka'a, or Black Rock, considered one of the very best places for snorkeling on Maui and a great place to see Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles.

The Kaanapali Beach Hotel's grounds are lush, tropical, and delightful to stroll through. There is the whale-shaped swimming pool, and just steps away is the really big pool known as the Pacific Ocean.
