Located in the heart of Waikiki,
The Aqua Bamboo & Spa is a deluxe boutique hotel that
has recently been renovated. Just a few blocks from famous
Waikiki Beach,
its location is ideal for those who love the bright lights
and excitement of Waikiki, yet prefer
staying somewhere that is quieter.
The rooms are all air-conditioned, very spacious with
a South Asia décor combined with
the tropical ambiance of the islands. There are guest
rooms, studios and one-bedroom suites, all with a lanai,
with many having two to three lanais. Most of the guest
rooms have a kitchenette, while studios and suites come
fully equipped with kitchens or kitchenettes.
Amenities include in-room safe, complimentary High-Speed
Internet access, cable TV, hair dryer, daily turn down
service, coffee/tea maker with daily complimentary coffee
and tea packets and much more.
Upon arrival you will receive a thoughtful arrival amenity
(per arrival, per person), a cool towel and a complimentary
Metro Book, one book per arrival. The Metro Book has all
sorts of discounts on dining and entertainment.
Often referred to as an Oasis in the Heart of Waikiki,
the Aqua Bamboo & Spa is a lovely property that even
includes its own Spa with a beautiful swimming pool and
large sun deck in a garden setting called, The Outer Sanctuary.
There is a pavilion and even a barbeque grill - it's a
wonderful spot to take a swim, or just simply relax after
a day of activity.
Then there is the Spa, where you can enjoy a choice of
massages from Lomi Lomi (traditional Hawaiian)
to Shiatsu and Swedish. Facials and body scrubs are also
offered in a private cabana near the pool.
There are wonderful restaurants nearby, including the
well-known Cheesecake Factory; Hy's
Steak House for a very special dinner; Tiki's
Grill & Bar for great food, inexpensive drinks and
Duke's Canoe House, oceanfront, food, drinks, with both
places great spots for sunsets, people watching and nightly
entertainment; and, Cheeseburger in Paradise, always crowded,
located at each end of Waikiki.
The Aqua Bamboo & Spa is a great hotel with a wonderful
location, lots of amenities and some extras that are hard
to beat. There is a complimentary Continental Breakfast
served each morning, a Manager's hosted cocktail reception
every Thursday, and a complimentary daily newspaper. All
this and still it remains a very
reasonable hotel and a wonderful place to spend a vacation.
