The Communy Drum Circle comes once a month to the Longhouse at Peninsula College in Port Angeles, WA and also some times outside. Beatriz Giraldo, a mental health professional, began facilitating the drumming circles at the Longhouse, in October 2008 building community using drumming as a means of creating unity and healing. We also come to make a circle of rhythms, interlocking beats played on drums and instruments from all of the Americas — North, Central and South plus Hawaii — and from Australia, Africa and Asia.
