Maui – Red Sand and Beaches near Hana I spent the day exploring various east shore beaches near Hana on Maui, Hawaii. The red sand beach was beautiful in particular! Hamoa beach is also a favorite, with great waves and snorkeling. I saw some beautiful BIG fish there. Waianapanapa State Park has a great black sand beach called Honokalani.
