The Aqua Palms at Waikiki is located just across from
the Hilton Hawaiian Village and has just recently
gone through extensive renovation. A short walk takes
you to beautiful Ft. DeRussey Park and one of the widest beaches in the Waikiki area, complete with a park like setting, barbeque grills,
picnic tables and one of the best spots to watch sunsets.
Aqua Palms offers deluxe, spacious studies and one-bedroom
suites with private balconies, all with kitchenette or
full kitchen. Amenities include cable TV, room service,
DVD player, hairdryer, clock radio, voicemail, coffee/tea
maker, complimentary coffe and
tea packets and more.
Upon arrival you will receive a thoughtful arrival amenity
(per arrival, per person) and a cool towel to refresh
yourself, as well as a complimentary Metro Book (one per
arrival).
There is a lovely outdoor swimming pool with sundeck,
a poolside cabana offering inexpensive massages, therapies,
body scrubs and facials and a Fitness Center. Other hotel amenities include complimentary high speed
internet access, complimentary newspaper, Wi-Fi spots
in the lobby, Activities Desk and a lovely extra of complimentary
breakfast for 2 daily!
There are some great restaurants close to Aqua Palms,
including the extremely popular, Eggs N' Things on Kalakaua Avenue, Cheeseburger in Paradise,
Benihana of Tokyo in the Hilton. Further along in Waikiki you can find lots of action at Duke's Canoe Club or reasonable
prices at the very popular Tiki's
Grill & Bar, both with local entertainment.
This is a nice, comfortable hotel in a great location.
Away from the noise of Waikiki, yet close enough to walk
or hop on a bus to be in the center of the action, then
back in the evening enjoying the quiet of the Aqua Palms
at Waikiki. The property gets rave
reviews from guests and many return visitors, so it is
certainly worthwhile looking into.
