The Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach is considered the flagship
hotel of the well known, family-owned Outrigger chain
of hotels. With its fantastic location on Waikiki
Beach, this deluxe hotel is beautifully
maintained and staffed, featuring partial or full ocean
views from every room. The large lobby includes a full-size
old koa wood outrigger canoe and lovely Hawaiian art, as
well as activities almost daily, including storytelling
and Hawaiian craft workshops.
Renovated in 2003, the rooms are not only spacious, but
beautifully decorated with an island
flair, including custom designed bed coverlets, bronze
Hawaiian lamps, wood and bamboo furnishings and art by
Hawaiian artists. Amenities include free high speed internet
access and free long-distance domestic telephone calls
for all guests, the first hotel in Honolulu
to offer these amenities. All rooms also feature 27-inch
cable TV with video-game consoles, complimentary newspapers,
voice mail, mini-frig, complimentary toiletries, in-room
safe (can accommodate a laptop), hair dryer and so much
more.
The hotel is also host to some of the most popular restaurants
in the Waikiki area including Duke's Canoe Club, located oceanfront with
great atmosphere, food and entertainment. It's always
jamming with a mixed crowd of locals and visitors and
a great place to meet and make new friends. They also
are home to the well known Chuck's Steak House and the
newest addition, Hula Grill Waikiki is packing them in

The hotel opened a brand new spa in July 2006, called
the Waikiki Plantation Spa. Located on the penthouse level

of the head, the spa offers something delightful to make
you feel relaxed and pampered including all types of facials,
body wraps, manicures and pedicures. A new Fitness
