He did it in Kona during the Ford Ironman World Championship. He finished the 140.6 mile course under the 17 hour cut-off time in a time of 16 hours, 42 minutes and 46 seconds.

Night snorkeling with Mantas and GOPRO HD HERO 2 at KONA, Hawaii. GOPRO was wrist mounted. Pardon the shakiness as the water was quite choppy. I was using the standard GOPRO housing with curved lens, with dive housing the images would have been sharper. Went out on the SunlightOnWater boat and had a great time!
