Hilo Seaside

With its beautiful location across the Hilo Bay on historic Banyan Drive, the very affordable Hilo Seaside is a perfect hotel for anyone who wants a clean, friendly place to stay while visiting the many attractions of the east side of the Big Island. Family owned and run, the hotel is noted for its service and warm aloha spirit. The hotel is surrounded by a spring pool filled with Japanese Carp and lush tropical gardens.

The air conditioned rooms are decorated in a tropical motif, each with a balcony/lanai. Children 13 and younger are free when sharing existing bedding with their parents. Amenities include ceiling fan, mini-refrigerator, voice mail, iron/board, Cable TV and more. Property amenities include complimentary parking, laundry facility, swimming pool, safe-deposit box at front desk, activity desk, security and more. Right next to the hotel is the Coconut Grill, featuring breakfast and dinner, open daily. Also close by is Harrington's a classic seafood & steak restaurant.

One of the oldest towns in Hawaii is Hilo, which is a quick 5 minute drive from the hotel. The town has recently gone through a resurgence with many of the old buildings renovated and turned into quaint cafes, shops and restaurants and well worth a stroll through. While in the area, check out the famous Big Island Candies, a must stop for locals visiting from the other islands.

The hotel is ideally situated to take advantage of all the things to see and do, including a continuously active volcano since 1983, only about 45 minutes away. This is a perfect hotel for families, offering a great deal of personal service and true aloha spirit at very reasonable prices.
