Aloha Beach Resort Kauai
Recently renovated, the Aloha Beach Resort Kauai is located on historic Wailua Bay. Situated next to the only navigable river in Hawaii, the Wailua, it is an area of cultural and historical significance where Hawaiian royalty once lived, worshiped and greeted the sunrise each morning. Adjacent to the resort is Kauai's only known petroglyphs and some of Hawaii's most sacred Heiaus (ancient Hawaiian temples) including City of Refuge and Malae, one of island's largest Heiaus. Centrally located on the island of Kauai, the resort is ideal to enjoy all the wonderful attractions of this most beautiful island.
The air conditioned rooms are very spacious and decorated in island décor, with a choice of garden, beach or ocean views. All rooms have direct dial phones with data ports, voicemail, wake-up service, cable TV, bath products, mini refrigerator, hair dryer, coffee/tea maker, Playstation and many other amenities. Children 19 and under stay free with parents, using the existing bedding.
The ocean view location features two swimming pools, mini fitness center, Jacuzzi, picnic tables, tennis and volleyball courts and shuffleboard. Adjacent to the property is Lydgate Beach Park, with two protected lagoons for both swimming and snorkeling. You can rent kayaks to paddle up the river to a spot where you can then hike to a lovely waterfall.
