OHANA Waikiki Malia

Located in the heart of Waikiki, the OHANA Waikiki Malia is a family-friendly budget hotel that offers a central location, basic rooms and a caring staff. Most of the rooms offer two double beds so parents can take advantage of the hotel's policy of children (2 maximum) age 17 and younger occupying the same room as their parents in existing bedding at no additional charge. Upon arrival, guests will receive a Dining & Shopping booklet for extra savings.

All the air conditioned rooms are decorated in a tropical island style and feature small, private lanais. There are also available one bedroom units with kitchenettes including a two burner stovetop or microwave, cookware and tableware. Room amenities include mini refrigerator, clock radio, Cable TV with pay movies and Nintendo, coffee/tea maker, iron and ironing board, card key access, blackout drapes, bathtub/shower, bath amenities and hair dryers.

While there is no swimming pool on site, guests can use the pools at any other OHANA hotel, such as the OHANA East and OHANA Waikiki West, which are a short walk from the Malia. There is a tennis court, located at the top of the building where you can not only play tennis, but enjoy panoramic views of Waikiki. The hotel is only about a 5 minute walk to Waikiki Beach, where you can rent boogie boards, surf boards and kayaks, as well as sign up for lessons.

Heading in the same direction on Kalakaua Avenue you'll also find some pretty good restaurants, including The Cheesecake Factory, Duke's, Cheeseburger in Paradise. Tiki's Grill & Bar and around the corner right before the park, the award-winning Teddy's Bigger Burgers.
