WATCH MORE FROM THE SHORT LIST HERE www.youtube.com The YOMYOMF NETWORK presents “THE SHORT LIST,” our first curated series to present our favorite short films that may entertain, incite and inspire. Also check out the blog at YOMYOMF.com to read the accompanying blog from the director of that week’s short film. Title: SIGHT (2012) SIGHT, s short film by Eran May-raz and Daniel Lazo (this is their graduate thesis project for the Bezaleal Academy of Arts in Jerusalem), explores the world of “augmented reality”. We follow Patrick, as he goes through his day, playing video games, preparing a meal, and getting ready for a date. We’re taken from a computer-enhanced environment of convenience to more complicated reality, showing us what it might be like if apps and cellphones weren’t just handheld devices, but embedded into our minds, bodies and culture. To read an interview with the filmmakers of SIGHT, go here: youoffendmeyouoffendmyfamily.com “THE SHORT LIST” is curated by ANDERSON LE, artistic director for both the Hawaii International Film Festival and the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, and airs Fridays at Noon EST. The YOMYOMF Network is based on the pop culture blog, You Offend Me You Offend My Family, founded by director JUSTIN LIN (BETTER LUCK TOMORROW, FAST FIVE).
