Set in stunning Captain Cook, Hawaii,Hawaii Sea Camp is geared toward young people who are interested in the marine environment, either for recreation or as a prospective career. We run scuba certification, snorkel and marine science programs for four two week sessions during the summer, and for customizable time slots year-round. All levels of PADI certification are offered up to Master Diver, including Open Water referrals (for those just getting started), Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver. Teens can choose to specialize in a variety of skills including underwater photography and videography, deep diving, search and recovery; night diving, etc. Once the certifications are achieved, HSC campers participate in tropical marine science programs in partnership with the University of Hawaii, helping collect data on marine life to better understand the state of Hawaii’s reefs.
