On Big Island (Hawaii) we visited the Botanical Garden near Hilo. It was definitely the best of all gardens we saw on Hawaii. It was build by Dan J. Lutkenhouse, who discovered Onomea Valley in 1977 while vacationing with his wife, Pauline. So I called my composition ‘Dan’s Garden’. We asked how long it would take to see the garden. They told us ‘up to 2 hours’. We spent double the time without a second of boredom. This is Paradise!
