Divine Mercy Family Foundation at Asaba IDP Camp

In October of 2012, the Divine Mercy Family Foundation led by its President Francisca Emefiene Pinkney Led a team to Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria to solidify contacts for plans to build an orphanage and home for pregnant teens in Ubulu-Okiti, Delta State, Nigeria. While in Asaba they learned of the flood victims camps there. They had brought dresses hand made by Betty Burlile of Island Amgel Dresses (Kona, Hawaii, USA) that were to be distributed in Ubulu-Okiti. However, Francisca was touched by the plight of the flood victims and decided to donate the dresses at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and School Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camp in Asaba. They were assisted by Steve Martin of Gongfuball from Hilo, Hawaii, USA.
