Just a few days ago, I got bored and felt like transcribing music. I came across some of the background music to the Nickelodeon cartoon “SpongeBob SquarePants”, and found one tune everyone should recognize from it (if you’re familiar with the show). So, after about four hours, I finally had Hans Haider’s rendition of “Honolulu March” transcribed for piano. You’ll hear there’s grace notes in there that are physically impossible to play (unless you’re someone like Tom Brier). I added them in to try to simulate a Hawaiian steel guitar. In some places (like the very last strain), the bass becomes very over-powering. There’s nothing I can do to reverse that…You can only do so much with Finale 2009. Please let me know if any of the information (composer, date, title, etc…) is incorrect. I’ll change it ASAP to avoid any copyright trouble. I hope y’all enjoy!
