The first swell of the 2012 North Shore season was not that big, and luckily the big pro surf talent was not around. The local residents had a late summer treat with clean water and decent waves. Pupukea was one of the bigger breaks this day and the waves shown were sadly some of the medium size waves that day–there were some much larger ones!
