I’ve learned a few new tricks to make this work a little better. -How to deal with braiding layered hair -How to finish the ends, so they don’t look frizzy or have tiny waves or look crimped. -How to create smooth waves and not big, fluffy hair. Has anyone also noticed I was able to get myself a better camera to use in my last few hair tutorial videos? When I first started making videos, I was using my husband’s Eye Toy from his Play Station and made videos on a loud PC!!!! Over the years, it’s been fun buying things like a new digital camera, better lighting and then a lap top to film and edit on. But though I spent money to improve, viewers continued to complain about the quality of my videos. People wanted me to get an HD camera. But no one wanted to pay for it LOL JK! You know what I mean. I knew I was going to have to save up. So, I started to accept sponsored videos and slowly saved up for a nice new HD camera! YAY! I flew to the island of Molokai, it’s a Hawaiian island next to Oahu. The canoe race itself is across a huge ocean channel, and it took around 5 hours for these athletes to canoe from one island to the next. I was blown away by the fact that they didn’t stop at all, in the least bit. For each canoe racer, a motor boat had to follow next to them just to make sure they didn’t get lost in the ocean, and someone from the motor boat would have to jump in the ocean and throw the canoe racers a water bottle as they got thirsty, since they had no time to stop. The race was the World Champion solo canoe race, so people from all over the world came to be a part of it. It was an awesome experience to experience it all. As far as the technical details go It was all filmed on a Canon 5D Mark II. Shot with a Canon 16-35mm F/2.8 L series Lens And a Canon 70-200mm F/2.8 L series Lens To get the smooth shots where it looks like we are “flying”, I used a Glidecam HD 4000. Here is a
