So, in the spring of 2012, The Chimpmunks ans the Chimpettes, now calling themselves simply munkChimp, broke ties with David Seville – who Simon refers to “Cournal Parker’s idiot brother — and began writing, recording, producing, engineering, and mastering their own material.
